Forty-seven icons are new. Eighteen are houses: house, a second house to sit next to home, with twelve variations, plus five more for home itself. Ten are people: a person with a symbol beside them, nine ways, and an ID badge. The rest are cogs, arrows, two pairs of glasses, and a few everyday objects.
Fourteen icons that already shipped were redrawn, mostly clouds. The set is now 1,332 icons, each in stroke, two-tone, duotone and fill, with rounded or sharp corners. That's 10,656 SVGs.
A second house
home keeps its rounded peak and square door. house is the other one people usually reach for: a roof that sticks out past the walls, over an arched door.
It comes with a chimney, plain and without a door, and as a pair. A tick, a cross, a plus or a lightning bolt sits at the top right, where the roof stops short to leave room. A heart, a cog or a plug takes the place of the door, for favourites, settings and power. house-wifi holds a wireless signal, with the dot sitting in a gap in the floor. house-cast sends one out from its lower corner. Together they cover most of what a smart home app needs to say.
home gets a heart, a cross, a tick, a version without a door, and a pair of its own, so either house can carry an app from start to finish.

house and its twelve, then home and its five.A person with something to say
The person already had a tick, a plus, a minus, a cross and a lightning bolt. Nine more symbols join them: a cog for account settings, a heart, a key, a list, a padlock, a speech bubble, a pen for editing, a magnifying glass for finding people, and a shield.
These are objects, not small marks, so they're drawn larger, low on the right beside the shoulder. The shoulder stops short so each one has room. The person stays where it stands in user-plus, so swapping one symbol for another never moves it. id-badge is the tenth: a badge with a photo on it, and the slot it hangs from.
One cog for everything
Settings attach to all sorts of things, so the cog now comes with a file, a folder, a database and the globe, in the corner where the plus sits on each of them. It's the same cog every time, and the same one beside the person.
brain-cog was redrawn to match. Its cog used to have a wider ring and shorter teeth than anything else in the set. It now has the same proportions as the rest.
And the rest
arrow-down-up is two long arrows side by side, down on the left and up on the right, the usual picture for sorting. Four shorter pairs sit one step past the other, for swapping two things in either direction.
There are glasses with round lenses and sunglasses with dark ones, a heart cracked down the middle, and a puzzle piece. video-2 is a video camera without its reels. bike-2 is the bicycle without its rider. A phone with waves on one side is for tapping to pay. Waves on both sides means it's ringing. Two more clouds: one with a magnifying glass, and one on a network.

Clouds that open
Each cloud with a check, a cross, a plus, an exclamation mark, an arrow or a prompt used to hold the mark inside, drawn small so it would fit. The cloud now opens along its bottom edge, and the symbol sits underneath at full size, including the arrows for upload and download. The rain cloud opens the same way, and the rain falls straight out of it. cloud-minus is no longer in the set.
Four icons with a lightning bolt moved a step to the left: home-zap, database-zap, server-zap and user-zap. Each now sits exactly where its plus version sits, so switching one for the other no longer makes the picture jump. user-voice moved with them, and the voice grew to fill the same corner.
