This update brings 72 new icons. Fourteen are brackets and punctuation, eleven help you count or show a level, and fifteen are arrows, mostly u-turns that stop at a line. The rest are simple shapes, a few list icons, and some things people kept asking for, like a charging plug and a play-pause key.
With these, the set grows to 1,507 icons. Each one comes in stroke, two-tone, duotone and fill, with rounded or sharp corners, so that's 12,056 SVGs in all.
Brackets and punctuation
Parentheses, square brackets and curly braces now come as separate opening and closing halves. They're handy for buttons that wrap a selection or add one side of a pair. Two more keep both halves together: parentheses-ellipsis hides what's inside, just like the dotted braces and brackets from last time, and parentheses-x puts an x between them, for when you mean a variable.
The punctuation marks get their own icons too: pipe, colon, semicolon, comma, accent-grave and tilde. They work well for shortcut hints, separators and text tools. Since there's nothing inside them to fill, they look the same in every style.

Tallies and levels
The tally marks count from one to five the way you'd keep score on paper: four strokes side by side, then a fifth across them. Each stroke stays in place as the count goes up, so going from tally-2 to tally-3 just adds one line. That makes it easy to animate a counter ticking up.
The chevron levels work a bit like signal bars. chevrons-up-1 to chevrons-up-3 fill from the bottom, for priority, speed or strength going up. chevrons-down-1 to chevrons-down-3 fill from the top. Each chevron stays put as the level changes.

Plain shapes
A triangle, a diamond, a hexagon and an octagon join the square and circle as simple outlines. They're good for status markers, map keys and flowcharts. And yes, all six sides of the hexagon are the same length.
Five shapes now hold a dot. The triangle, diamond and octagon each get a new dotted version, and dot itself now comes framed as square-dot and circle-dot.
Arrows at a line
The u-turn arrows now turn back at a line, for moments when you hit an edge or a limit and head back. They point in all four directions, and each has a mirrored version, so there are eight in total.
Four more arrows pass right through a line, for crossing a boundary. And the big outlined arrows pointing right, down and left now have a bar behind them, to match arrow-big-up-dash, the one you'd recognise from the caps lock key.

And the rest
Lists get a few new friends: a column of checks, indent in and out, a nested level and a pin. ban-square is the no-entry slash inside a square, available both ways round. The star and lightning bolt now come framed in a square and a circle too.
plug-zap is a plug that's charging, plug-circle is a plug inside a ring, and code-panel is a panel with code brackets tucked into its top edge. workflow links two boxes with a path. book-open-2 is an open book mid page-turn, and library-big shows two books standing with a third leaning against them. There's also a pin pushed into the ground, a large frame above a row of thumbnails, two alignment icons with a bar along one edge, and nfc, for tapping to pay.
Finally, play-pause is the media key most keyboards have: play and pause on one button, for anything that switches between the two.
